Mish Wright
Mish Wright is a four-time Educator of the Year and a leader in women’s health education for the fitness industry.
She created the GRACE Midlife Movement™ Protocol, and the Menopause Training Matrix™ (MTM), a symptom-led education system that helps trainers work effectively with perimenopausal and postmenopausal women.
Mish’s work sits where research, education and real-world application meet. She’s known for translating complex evidence into practical frameworks that support trainers, fitness businesses and organisations to work with women through midlife in ways that are sustainable, ethical and commercially viable. Her education is used internationally by personal trainers, gym owners and fitness organisations looking for better systems, not just better programs.

Designing systems that fit women
Most foundational fitness models were developed for bodies with relatively stable hormones, predictable recovery and consistent capacity. They still serve many people well. But they were never designed for female physiology across hormonal transition, or for everything that shapes midlife.
That mismatch isn’t a failure of practice. It’s a limitation of design context. GRACE shifts the question from asking women to fit existing systems to designing systems that fit women, particularly through midlife. Mish released it to the industry free in 2025.
A testing panel, not a testimonial panel
GRACE was shaped with the GRACE Advisory Panel (GAP): experienced practitioners and industry leaders who used it, questioned it and reported back honestly. No polishing, no perfect weeks, no ideal clients. What emerged wasn’t hype; it was clarity.
GRACE has given me a clear way to talk about movement with clients when things change week to week. It’s helped normalise adaptation rather than treating it as a problem.
From a business perspective, GRACE creates alignment. It gives our team shared language and structure without forcing rigid programs that don’t hold.
The traditional F.I.T.T. model didn’t work for midlife women because it was too rigid and too linear for bodies that no longer respond predictably.
